Community of Practice Forum on Maritime Safety

The inaugural Community of Practice Forum on Maritime Safety was launched by MPA on 23 August 2017.  

It is a collaborative platform for maritime administrations and Non-Government Organisations to meet to share knowledge and best practices on maritime safety.

The biennial forum is chaired by the Chairman of the National Maritime Safety at Sea Council and participation is by-invite only.

The topics discussed in the forum in 2017 and 2019 focused on ferry safety, while 2021’s forum touched on Keeping Maritime Workers Safe Onboard Ships.
