A Memorandum of Cooperation (MOC) was signed between Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA) and Australian Maritime Safety Authority (AMSA) to enhance the collaboration between both authorities. Under the MOC, both authorities aim to collaborate in enhancing ship safety, marine surveyors training and exchange programme. AMSA was represented by Mr Michael Drake, Executive Director of Operations, while MPA was represented by Mr Cheah Aun Aun, Director (Shipping/Marine).

The signing of MOC took place during Mr Drake’s visit to MPA on 12 October 2022 and was witnessed by Capt M Segar, MPA’s Assistant Chief Executive (Operations).
