MPA understands that some Singaporean/SPR seafarers are required to undergo Covid-19 tests as part of their company's requirement to join ship. Singaporean/SPR seafarers can approach MPA to facilitate for such requests which will be assessed on a case-by-case basis.

Singaporean/SPR seafarers can write in to MPA at crew_change@mpa.gov.sg and provide the following information when submitting the request:

• Company's name and a confirmation specifying the ship that the Singaporean/SPR seafarer will be joining
• Confirmation that the Singaporean/SPR seafarer has been residing in Singapore in the last 14 days prior to joining ship
